First of all, everyone calls me AVP. I grew up in Indiana, but I’ve been an east coast girly for over a decade now. Growing up, I sang “Tomorrow” from ANNIE approximately 7,000 times while playing the title role all over the country. Theater has always been a huge part of my life, and honestly, I never lost the bug. I studied theater in school, where I met my now very literally famous husband, and together we made the move to the big apple. When I’m not working, I’m just an all-around good time human. I teach at STEPS and have the sweetest group of devoted students who absolutely EAT UP my choreo. These days, I live in New Jersey with my husband and our angel baby dog, Penny. I have excellent taste in music, love a chilled rosé, Sour Patch Watermelon, and a hot girl walk.
I’m passionate, professional, and always down for a good time. I love making art with people, creating positive spaces, and uplifting the youths through kindness, leadership, and a lot of laughter.
